Garage Sale April 1st, 8 - 2: Sausage Wraps, Bake Sale, and Water bottles (thanks to Red & White Grocery Store of Bartlett for donating 4 cases of water) also available. You can drop off Garage Sale donations at times to be announced later or church family members can rent a 10' x 20' space in the parking lot for $25. You are responsible for providing tables and change and must clean up afterwards.
Baked goods to be sold are to be priced in increments of 25 cents and should be delivered to the parking lot beginning at 7:30 am. Since customers will be visiting Garage Sales throughout Bartlett during this Town Wide Garage Sale, serving size packs of cookies, brownies, and other snacks go over well. Even so, whole cakes, pies, and breads are also good sellers.
Marsha Russell is running the Bake Sale: "Bake sale items should come ready to sell. Please label if your product contains nuts or nut products. Cookies and brownies may be bagged 2 or 3 to a bag, depending on size. All bagged items will be priced at $1.00. Please be sure your pies, cakes, and breads are priced to sell. Nothing should be priced over $10.00."
Easter Lilies in honor or in memory of loved ones can be purchased by filling out an envelope from the foyer table and either placing it in the collection plate or giving the envelope directly to Terry Heckman. Deadline for purchases is Palm Sunday, April 9th. Please take your Easter Lily home with you after church Easter Sunday or leave it to be taken to the homebound.
Recipes for the new BUMC cookbook can be placed in the basket on the table in the foyer or mailed in to the church PO Box 44, Bartlett, Tx. 76511 We are looking for family favorites, Pot Luck favorites, craft recipes, Table Prayers, etc. Share your favorites and family traditions, tell the stories that go along with the recipes - make this the best cookbook ever!
